Hobbies

I am an avid gardener and collector of children's literature; I enjoy decorating and entertaining family and friends often.

Why I like teaching

I have a passion for reading and writing, and I love teaching because it allows me to arm my children with the tools to be good readers and writers.   It is a thrill when my class moves from easy readers to chapter books, and there is no greater joy than to introduce children to an outstanding piece of literature, and then inspire them to write and draw creatively.
