New Catechetical Leader Hired

St. Sebastian Parish is pleased to announce the hire of Mr. Keith Johnson as their Parish Catechetical Leader. He is replacing Mrs. Cathy Sivec who worked at the Parish for over ten years. Keith joins St. Sebastian Parish with over twelve years of experience in the religious field. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Bible Theology from Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. He has served as a youth minister, PSR teacher and most recently worked at Catholic Charities as a staff accountant. Keith also received his Advanced Catechist Certification from the Cleveland Diocese.

 

In his new role, Keith will be responsible for overseeing all ministries of adult faith formation and youth ministry as well as sacramental preparation and the Parish School of Religion program. He will be working closely with the parish’s Parochial Vicar, Fr. Anthony Simone and the parish’s RCIA program (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) for those who want to learn more about the Catholic Faith and will continue to analyze the catechetical needs of the parish.
