It is our pleasure to introduce Mrs. Gabrielle Redovian as the new principal of St. Sebastian Parish School beginning with the 2026-27 School Year!  

Gabrielle Redovian brings a strong commitment to Catholic education, rooted in both her personal and professional life. A lifelong product of Catholic schooling, she attended Our Lady of the Elms from first through twelfth grade. She grew up in West Akron and has been an active parishioner of St. Sebastian Parish since middle school. Over the years, she has been deeply connected to the community as a parishioner, parent, and now school leader.

Gabrielle earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Walsh University, along with licensure as a Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Intensive Intervention Specialist. She also holds a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as licensure in Educational Leadership (Principal), Intervention Specialist, and a K–12 Reading Endorsement.

She began her career in education in 2010 at Buckeye Local Schools. In 2017, she joined Julie Billiart School in Akron as an Intervention Specialist and later advanced to Assistant Principal and Director of Special Education. In Fall 2023, she was named Principal of Julie Billiart School. Throughout her leadership, she has prioritized building strong relationships with families, fostering inclusive learning environments, and
supporting student success through diverse pathways.

Gabrielle is honored to continue her service at St. Sebastian Parish School, where her own children are students and her family remains actively involved in parish life. She is deeply inspired by the strength and support of the St. Sebastian community and looks forward to partnering with families and staff to continue the school’s tradition of excellence.

Outside of school, she enjoys spending time outdoors, swimming, and supporting her children in their activities and sports. She lives in Akron with her husband, Michael, their children, Gavin and Adalynn, and their two dogs, Ember and Sydney.
