It is our sincere hope that each of our students will apply to a local Catholic high school to continue his or her path of excellence in the Catholic tradition.

The St. Sebastian Parish Foundation and other parish-related groups offer scholarships for St. Sebastian graduates who choose to attend a local Catholic high school. Our local Catholic high schools, in addition to offering a wide range of financial aid and scholarships for all incoming students, also offer some scholarships that are available only to graduates of St. Sebastian Parish School. These scholarship opportunities for St. Sebastian graduates are listed below.

Archbishop Hoban High School

The Denise Maroon Finley Memorial Scholarship was created in 2019 in memory of Denise Finley, who taught at St. Sebastian Parish School for 23 years and was a graduate of St. Sebastian herself.  This scholarship will provide a one-time $500 award toward the cost of tuition for up to two eighth-grade students with financial need in their freshman year at Archbishop Hoban High School.  Please contact the St. Sebastian Parish Foundation with any questions. The Foley/Kelly Family Scholarship, honoring Noreen Foley, Pat (Foley) Kelly & Chuck Kelly, is specifically for a St. Sebastian Parish student who will attend Archbishop Hoban High School. All St. Sebastian students who apply for an Incoming Freshman Scholarship are automatically considered for this scholarship; no separate application is required. Please check with the Office of Admissions at Archbishop Hoban High School for more details. Additional scholarships are available and are awarded based on the same scholarship application mentioned above.  More information is available at hoban.org.

Our Lady of the Elms School

The Beck Family Foundation Scholarship is a renewable tuition grant awarded to an eighth-grade girl at St. Sebastian Parish who will attend Our Lady of the Elms School for high school. Scholarship candidates will be considered based on academic merit and demonstrated financial need. The Beck family is dedicated to assisting students in their quest to receive a quality Catholic education. The Elms Family Scholarship was created to provide financial support to graduates of St. Sebastian Parish School who are interested in continuing their Catholic education at Our Lady of the Elms High School. This scholarship will provide a one-time award of up to $1,000 toward the cost of tuition for freshman year. St. Vincent-St. Mary High School

Christopher James Consilio Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship was established in 2020 in memory of Christopher James Consilio, a 2011 graduate of St. Sebastian Parish School. This scholarship, which is offered through the St. Sebastian Parish Foundation, is for an 8th-grade student(s) who currently attends St. Sebastian Parish School and who will attend St. Vincent-St. Mary High School next year. This wonderful scholarship provides up to a $1,000 financial award to help cover freshman year tuition at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. The Hanlon Family Scholarship (STVM) is for St. Sebastian Parish School 8th-grade students who will attend St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. This is a wonderful opportunity to be awarded $1,000 for your freshman year tuition at St. Vincent-St. Mary. The Hanlon family wants to help you on your path to success. The William and Mildred Loftus Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship was created in 2022 by Mary and Ann Loftus in memory of their parents, William and Mildred Loftus, who were active members of St. Sebastian Parish and graduates of St. Vincent High School. Like their parents, Mary and Ann are St. Sebastian parishioners and graduates of St. Vincent High School, and they are also graduates of St. Sebastian Parish School. Mary and Ann are pleased to support our parish school students as they continue their Catholic education. This scholarship will provide a one-time $1,000 award toward the cost of tuition for an eighth-grade student with financial need for their freshman year at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. John A. Trecaso Scholarship: The St. Sebastian Parish Foundation offers the John A. Trecaso Scholarship to St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. This scholarship is awarded to an 8th-grade student who is currently attending St. Sebastian Parish School who will attend St. Vincent-St. Mary High School next year and who has a financial need. This is a wonderful opportunity to receive a $500 financial award to help cover your freshman year tuition at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. Wheeler Memorial Scholarship for St. Vincent-St. Mary High School is for an outstanding 8th-grade student of St. Sebastian Parish School who has exemplary grades and extracurricular activities; this leader will receive a $5,000 total award. This deserving student will receive $2,000 for their freshman year tuition to attend STVM and $1,000 for their 3 subsequent years at STVM. The winner of this scholarship must also agree to complete 1 day of community service each summer. This student must be in good standing and maintain a minimum 2.75 GPA to renew each year. Walsh Jesuit High School

The Beck Family Foundation Award for Walsh Jesuit is for St. Sebastian Parish 8th-grade students who will attend Walsh Jesuit High School. This is a wonderful opportunity, and it can be split between two or more deserving St. Sebastian graduates. The Beck family wants to help you on your path to success in service to others. To be considered for this award, applicants must apply and qualify through the Walsh Jesuit website's FACTS application and complete the Diocesan high school application. The Michael R. Beck III Memorial Scholarship was created in 2023 by Mike and Brenda Beck in honor and in loving memory of Michael R. Beck III (Class of 1989), who passed away on December 24, 2022. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide tuition assistance to a graduate(s) of St. Sebastian Parish School who attends Walsh Jesuit High School. This is a freshman year only scholarship. There is no scholarship application: all St. Sebastian Parish School graduates who declare Walsh Jesuit as their first-choice high school will be considered for this scholarship. Please contact the St. Sebastian Parish Foundation with any questions.

The Gerstenmaier Family Scholarship is for any young man or young woman in the 8th grade who is attending St. Sebastian Parish School and will attend Walsh Jesuit High School. This is a wonderful opportunity to receive a financial award for your freshman year tuition at Walsh Jesuit. The Gerstenmaier family wants to help you on your path to success. HASA Youth Christian Service Scholarships: The St. Sebastian Parish School Home and School Association (HASA) offers two HASA Youth Christian Service Scholarships, worth $1,000 each, for eighth-grade students graduating from St. Sebastian Parish School. The scholarships are to be used at one of our area Catholic high schools. The dedicated parent volunteers of our Home and School Association want to help our graduates continue on their path of Catholic excellence and recognize and reward their community service and volunteerism during their time at St. Sebastian Parish School. Sanctuary Society Service Scholarship: The St. Sebastian Parish Sanctuary Society offers a $500 Sanctuary Society Service Scholarship to one current Altar Server or Usher of St. Sebastian Parish Church in grades 5 - 8. This scholarship is to be used to further your Catholic education at one of our area Catholic high schools. The women of the Sanctuary Society want to help you continue on your path of excellence. St. Irene Principal's Scholarship: This $500 scholarship goes to one St. Sebastian Parish School 8th-grade student who will be attending a Catholic high school. The winner of this scholarship will be a student who exemplifies the school's mission to honor the Catholic Christian traditions of the past, to develop our talents today, and to prepare for Christian Service in the future. This student must be a hard worker, take pride in the school and themselves and have an impeccable discipline record. This student also must lead others by his/her example and do so in a humble way.
