Why I like teaching

I love teaching junior high students because they are at the age where they can do many advanced critical thinking activities and have so much potential. I focus on giving them the foundation they need in high school and beyond. The wonderful thing about teaching in a Catholic school is that we are able to address the individual needs of the students in our classes. I especially enjoy teaching literary texts which often give opportunities to discuss our faith.
