Father's Bulletin Letter - 9.14.2025
Sep 11, 2025
Greetings!
Starting this weekend, we celebrate our
ANNUAL EUCHARISTIC DEVOTIONS!
This is our unique opportunity to worship Our Lord and to thank Him for his many graces and blessings both for St. Sebastian Parish as a community and for the individual gifts He may have bestowed on you. Our Lord will be exposed on our altar at the end of the 11:00am Mass on Sunday and continue to be present for your visit through until the end of the prayer service on Tuesday evening beginning at 7pm.
How you can help: Adorers are needed to be present the entire time our Lord is exposed on our altar. Sign-up sheets are located on the altar rail by the Blessed Virgin Mary statue in order for you to be able to adopt an hour or more. If someone has already taken on the hour that you desired, that is fine! It would be best to have multiple people on each hour anyway. Things happen and someone might be late or otherwise might not be able to be there. Dinner time and the early hours of the morning are always in need of people willing to sacrifice their time.
If you are unable to commit to a specific hour: For various reasons, not everyone is able to commit to a specific hour. Do not fret! You are needed also! Come at any time you are available and as often as possible. If you can come before the top of the hour and stay until a little after, that will assist those who need to leave if someone with the following hour is a little late.
Don’t feel poorly if you are unable to make an entire hour: Come for forty-five minutes, thirty, fifteen, ten or whatever you can manage. Thanks to our glass doors, you may even pull over while driving by and spend just a few moments acknowledging Jesus and giving thanks. Of greatest importance is that you made the effort and were there.
