About the Program:
Art with Miss Jenn offers customized after-school art programs for local elementary schools. These programs are created directly with buildings’ PTAs or PTOs and take place directly after school, inside the school building.
How it Works:
Set Up •
- Choose the best dates for the school’s desired program
- Promote the program by sending home flyers and email/newsletter
- Parents sign up their child through the school’s PTA.
On the Day
- Students are called to their program at dismissal and head to that room.
- The parents pick up their child at the end of the program
- The program runs on the specified dates, the instructor is paid, and the PTA gets a donation
Details
- Classes are sometimes in the art room, the gym, or even the library
- A typical course lasts 4 weeks and approximately 1, 1.5 hours of instruction.
- All 4 classes convene on the same day of the week.
- Courses will have a theme, holiday or season (ie Halloween or fall themed projects), but may also be specific to a certain medium (ie drawing, painting, clay, etc.)
- Cost is based on course content, but usually is within $75 - $95 range per student, including a donation back to the PTA
