Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts
St. Sebastian Scouting consists of 3 groups. Boy Scouts Troop 96 (Grades 6 through age 18); Cub Scouts Pack 3096 (grades 1 through 5). The cubs are classified as Tiger (1st grade), Wolf (2nd grade), Bear (3rd grade), Webelos 1 (4th grade) and Webelos 2 (5th grade); and Girl Scouts grade 1 through 8. Each Girl scout grade carries it's own troop number. The mission of Scouting is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
In the future, Scouting will continue to:
- Offer young people responsible fun and adventure;
- Instill in young people lifetime values and develop in them ethical character expressed in the Scout Oath and Law;
- Train young people in citizenship, service, and leadership;
- Serve America's communities and families with its quality, values-based program.
