The young adult group at St Sebastian's is open to couples and singles who are between the ages of 21 and 40 residing in Akron or surrounding areas. We are a small group yet committed to meet once a week. We study Sacred Scripture, teachings of The Catholic Church and writings from various religious authors to enrich and grow in our faith. We also participate in social activities either on our own or in conjunction with other Catholic groups in our area. We often go out to a local restaurant after our studies. Additionally, we participate in community service activities.
Mission Statement
The mission of this young adults group is to strengthen our walk with God through group study and discussion as well as through growing in Christian friendship and encouragement. By growing ever closer to God, we strive to be lights for Him in the world both through our words and especially through our example.

Currently we volunteer once a month at a local soup kitchen.

Grounds for Faith
Grounds For Faith is a coffeehouse (with speaker) for young adults single and married in 20s and 30s. GFF's are held every 2nd Friday of the month. For further information email groundsforfaith@yahoo.com and ask to be put on their email distribution.
Theology on Tap
Theology on Tap is a quarterly lecture series sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland Foundation's Associate Board. Theology on Tap begins with a happy hour at 6:30 p.m. which includes complimentary appetizers and a cash bar. The lecture begins at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $3 at the door.
